Mavado is in high spirits following his billboard accomplishment.
Vado has become the first Caribbean dancehall entertainer to have his video exclusively premiere on Billboard after the visuals for his single, 'Take It' featuring Karian Sang debuted on the magazine's website on Monday.
Mavado tells Music News that it is a great achievement for dancehall and Jamaica.
The single was produced by Troyton Music and distributed by Zojak World Wide while the accompanying video was directed by Scorpio 21.
In the meantime, Mavado has another major international collab on the way featuring DJ Khaled and Rick Ross.
Vado is also putting the finishing touches on his debut album under the We The Best Music Group/Young Money Cash Money Billionaires (YMCMB) umbrella.
Buju Banton’s computer forensics expert, Larry Daniel can only examine from Feb. 14, 2011, to March 8, 2011 on Terri Wright’s computer.
That’s according to an order filed Friday by U.S. District Judge James S. Moody Jr., who is trying to sort out allegations that juror Terri Wright conducted improper research during the 2011 trial.
Miami New Times reported that jury forewoman Wright admitted to doing independent Internet research during the trial, quoting her as saying, "I would get in the car, just write my notes down so I could remember, and I would come home and do the research."
However, Terri Wright testified that the reporter misunderstood her, and that she did the research after the trial concluded.
Buju Banton is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence on two drug charges.
