I was treated badly in Dominica but was not deported says Tommy Lee Sparta.
The dancehall deejay is speaking out for the first time following his ordeal in the Caribbean island of Dominica.
In an exclusive interview with Music News, Tommy Lee Sparta says the treatment he received in Dominica was awful. The deejay also confirms that legal action will be taken.
The Dominican government revealed on Monday that the dancehall deejay was denied entry into the country because he was deemed a security risk.
Tommy Lee Sparta who was subsequently detained, was later taken to a Dominican hospital after suffering from muscle spasms and blood clots to his legs after he was reportedly forced to sleep on the concrete floor in jailhouse.
The dancehall deejay further explains that he’s tired of the ill-treatment. The deejay who has received countless backlashes for his alter ego “Uncle Demon” had this piece of advice for religious groups.
Tommy Lee Sparta is currently stuck in Barbados following a flight delay.
The dancehall deejay will arrive in Jamaica on Wednesday just in time for two local performances in Montego Bay and Hanover.
These last days have been pretty tough for Tommy Lee Sparta. The deejay was arrested and charged for scamming in Jamaica. Following his release, he went to Russia and then the Caribbean island of Dominica where he was barred from entering the country, jailed, was taken to the hospital and deported.
