KARTEL Forever: Trilogy, a multi-track album by jailed deejay Vybz Kartel, will be released September 24 by Tads International Records.
The 60-track, three-disc set includes several of Kartel's biggest hits as well as new songs.
Tads International CEO, Tad Dawkins, says the compilation is a must-have for Kartel fans.
"This project consists of songs that have never been heard before as well as old favourites. Everyone knows Kartel is unpredictable and this is what makes it exciting," he told Splash.
Among the producers who worked on Kartel Forever are Elvis Redwood, Andrew 'Blacks' Myrie and Tariq 'Russian' Johnston.
An interesting inclusion is School, produced by Tanesha 'Shorty' Johnson, Kartel's common-law wife.
Dawkins would not say if any of the new songs were recorded during Kartel's incarceration.
In July, Kartel (given name Adidjah Palmer), Lenburgh McDonald and Nigel Thompson were cleared in the Supreme Court for the July 12, 2011 death of businessman Barrington "Bossie" Bryan.
Judge Bryan Sykes ruled that statements of two witnesses were inadmissible.
Kartel is still behind bars awaiting trial for the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.
