Although he pledged his allegiance to his former mentor Vybz Kartel, dancehall artiste Popcaan has buried the hatchet and has reconciled with iconic dancehall artiste Bounty Killer.
Bounty Killer celebrated his 41st birthday last weekend at Sugarman Beach in Portmore, St Catherine. It was during selector Boom Boom's set that the surprise came.

Lawyers representing the dancehall entertainer failed in their bid to have him released on bail today(07.06.13).
His attorneys argued that there is no evidence linking him to the murder and that he will turn up for his trial if released on bail. However, the judge was unmoved by the submissions and remanded him in custody.
Shawn Storm who has been in custody since October 2011, is charged jointly with Vybz Kartel and four others for the murder of Clive "Lizard" Williams.
Williams’ body has not been found.
The trial has been set for November 18 to December 5.
ALMOST three years after its release by VP Records, Gyptian's hit song Hold Yuh has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of 500,000 downloads.
Produced by Ricky Blaze, Hold Yuh made several Billboard magazine American charts. That success spilled over to Europe where it was also a sizable hit.
Hold Yuh earned Gyptian a MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Award for Best Reggae Act as well as a Soul Train Music Award for Best Reggae Artiste.

Toots Hibbert of the legendary reggae band Toots and the Maytals is suing his former manager for $1.25 million US dollars.
Andrea Davis, publicist for Toots Hibbert tells Music News that the law suit was filed over the singer’s publishing. According to Davis, Toots said he was taken advantage of.
Music News understands that the lawsuit claims that Toots was fooled into signing an agreement which gave his former manager 50 per cent ownership of his songs. Toots Hibbert is asking for US$1.25 mil in damages as well as full ownership of rights to his songs.
